Tina's Cotilion

Hi,
Tina turned 18! And what a way to celebrate. Adreen, Tina's mom is a super woman mom did the main coordination and design of the 100+ guest celebration for her daughter. The venue was adorned with tailored formal table settings each seat with the placards and shiny favors. It was a great pleasure to take part in the event by capturing those moments. Alex Wiles assisted me and Megan Apellanes ran the party booth while I got to run around shooting the event. We worked with videographers from VS Studios which made it more fun.

Bring in the New Year - 2010

Lot's of  things to look forward to for this year.  I have started networking with other photographers which proved to be inspirational.   The digital SLR and digital darkroom boom has made it easier and more lucrative for professional photographers.  I love that there is an emphasis on continuing learning with many opportunities to attend workshops and hands on photo shoots.  Coming back to photography as a second profession so far has been fun and creatively challenging and rewarding.  I plan to continue to grow my relationships with clients, models, and fellow photographers.

The first gig for this year is a debut which I am excited about.  I have the wheels rolling and creative brainstorming happening  :)  It should turn out hot with the debutant and her eight couple cotilion.  Putting together a treatment and ideas for the pre-party photo shoot.

Another excited thing I am looking forward to is building a team.  It will be challenging and fun putting it together and working with the team to produce some fun sessions/events and beautiful images for our clients and models.  *** crossing my fingers *** it will all come together in 2010.

Proofs- Choosing your images

I finally added a proofing gallery.  It provides a means for clients to review their images and request modifications or enhancements and to purchase prints in varying sizes and other really nice products.  The benefit of ordering from the proofing gallery is that it provides a means to conveniently purchase high quality images.   For those that will receive the images on disk, the proofs gallery may be a time saver in that it will save a trip to a printing service provider.

john, jeanne & babies gabriel and giianna Photo Shoot

the delgado's are great friends of mine who i have been wanting to photograph especially since the new baby girl arrived.  they have such a beautiful house and yard.  i feel like i am in a modern italian garden in their yard.  since baby gianna is new to photo shoots  :) we had fun trying to convince here that it's a good thing.  i managed to get some fun shoots and looking forward to photographing them in the furture years.
